Cold day in Buenos Aires and cold week ahead of us!

Today it was really cold, temperature was not so low but the wind made things look worse. We learned there is 1 week of cold weather ahead of us. Luckily, no rain J

This afternoon temperature was around 53 F and the sky was clear, but like I said above the wind made us all want to stay in. The wind and the swine flu of course. About the swine flu, we now hear that the situation is getting better. People are more informed (the government has open phone lines and all sorts of publicity on TV, Internet, newspapers providing info about the N1H1 flu) and therefore the number of consultations has dropped. Of course, like I said in my previous post, we are in winter and that hit us hard. If this had happened in spring or summer like it did in Mexico, the situation wouldn’t have been so crazy. We are advised to stay at home and if we show the symptoms we receive the medication to fight the virus, so as long as we are responsible there’s no need to panic. I know I am not panicking!

Anyway, if you are about to visit Buenos Aires, bring warm clothes and don’t be afraid!

Stay tuned for a new update on tomorrow’s weather in Buenos Aires, I can tell you now that tomorrow it will be really cold!

Have a good one!

I agree, we shouldn't panic so much with the swine flu situation. We have to be careful, that's all
